All things Austin - A Pinkletoes workshop reviewI have been patiently waiting 3 years to take a workshop with Michele. Three years ago I didn't feel "good enough" to take a workshop with someone of her caliber. Last year she took the year off from teaching workshops and when I received an email in October 2015 that her 2016 dates are posted I don't think I could have signed up fast enough! Michele's work speaks to me. It evokes emotion. It is colorful and cheerful. It is real. It is everything I want to strive to be - with my spin of course. And Michele, well she is the direct reflection of her work. She is all of those things and more. An amazing teacher, an open book, a generous hostess... the list seriously goes on. Michele gives her all and her workshop is no exception - it did not disappoint. It was everything I thought it would be and MORE. The experience, the learning, the new friends. Going to Austin not knowing anyone was totally out of my comfort zone and yet I came home excited, refreshed and ready to dig in to all of the new things I have learned. If you haven't seen her work please do yourself a favor and check it out I promise you will fall head over heels with her too. Some of my favorite images from the weekend - and some behind the scenes as well. Still interested in seeing more? Check out the other ladies that were at the workshop:
