July is always a busy month... kids are out of school, its my birthday, we go on vacations, my day job is busy and lets be honest - the work at home, well it never ends! 

This July I did something on my photography bucket list - I had a mentoring session with Missy Mayo of Missy Mayo Photography. Missy is a HUGE inspiration to me.  Her work is full of fun, movement and color.  And I can't forget to mention that she is also just totally sweet! You need to check out her blog, facebook or Instagram account because you will just flip over the magic she is able to create! Missy has a lot of fun at her sessions and was able to give tons of tips and tricks on getting the kids (and parents) to relax and just enjoy themselves even more.  Be on the look out for me to bring this to upcoming sessions of mine! 

In addition to my mentoring session I had multiple sessions to wrap up prior to heading out on vacation (which you can also see on the blog here, here and here).  We headed out to Plum Island in Newburyport this year for a week with some friends.  Know that when you go on vacation with the Dos family at least an hour is going to be dedicated to some family beach pictures :) .  Enjoy some pics from our summer so far and take a peek into my iPhone and gopro pics in this video.  I hope August brings just as much fun!
